The Way of Saint James”
Modern iconography inspired image of Saint James on the beloved Camino de Santiago(James). Shells lines the path. The gourd is attached to his walking stick; the ancient water bottle for hikers. The path loops up as symbolic of our walk to heaven. The tree is a tree but I hear that when you walk the Camino a tree is more than tree because you see it with mindful eyes, eyes quieted by the pilgrimage. Enjoy!
